As a Certified Marina Manager (CMM) acquired in 1995, and an active member within the “Association of the Marine Industries (AMI),” his expertise has allowed him to work with many well-known cities in Florida such as the City of Fort Lauderdale and St. Petersburg. He has been regarded as, “One of the most qualified around,” by Robert O. Cox (Bob Cox) who was a former City Commissioner & Mayor of Fort Lauderdale alongside being the “Grand-Father” of the Marine Industry in Fort Lauderdale. Jamie has taken on many job titles from Marine Consultant, Grant Writing Specialist, and Marina Supervisor to Marina Harbor Director. Jamie’s expertise has allowed him to excel and enhance every partner he has worked with.
An instance of his ability goes with him procuring over Eleven Million Dollars worth of public grants between different departments for their projects to improve their boat launching facilities, docks, existing breakwaters, recreational areas, dredging, electrical service centers, operations, dockage amenities for mega yachts, and overall Marina facilities. Mr. Hart has recently ventured into providing consultancy services as an “expert witness” providing his knowledge and expertise in a wrongful death lawsuit against a contractor in a marina slip and fall case.
